Liverpool are in advanced talks with Sevilla for Alberto Moreno. The Mirror says Liverpool are closing in on Moreno's £16million move from Sevilla after the defender was left out of Spain's World Cup squad.
Moreno's exclusion means there are no obstacles to completing the deal and Sevilla have told Liverpool they want a straight cash deal of an initial £16.2million.
The Europa League winners have rejected Liverpool's offer including Spanish forward Suso as a makeweight in the transfer, and the fee could rise to as much as £20million with add-ons.
