Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers won't change his mind over pulling out of a deal for QPR striker Loic Remy.
The Mirror says it is understood Liverpool took several opinions from top specialists before pulling the plug on the deal - a decision they know leaves them in a tough position, without a backup striker just over a fortnight before the start of the new season.
The Kop club had agreed personal terms with the France international after triggering the move with a bid of £8.5m and had even allocated him a squad number.
