Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers talked Rickie Lambert out of a move away yesterday.
Lambert was in talks over a loan move to Aston Villa.
But the striker turned it down after being promised some game time from Rodgers - including the prospects of a Europa League and FA Cup run, says the Mirror.
Lambert has struggled for minutes since his summer arrival from Southampton.
