Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says he's happy with the attitude and application of Mario Balotelli.
In Daniel Sturridge's continued absence, Mario Balotelli will be expected to lead the line again as he seeks to break his Premier League drought. He has scored just once - in the Champions League - since arriving from AC Milan in the summer.
"He is a really good boy and is so keen to impress," Rodgers told the Liverpool Echo.
"He is doing his best and has worked very hard during the international break. Mario has worked like a lion over the past fortnight. Nobody is more determined than him to show his value and worth."
