Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has denied Andrew Robertson's claims they've become worse since the turn of the year.
After their FA Cup defeat at Brighton, Robertson, who had captained Liverpool for the first time, suggested the Reds had wanted a new start since the restart but have instead become “worse".
And Klopp said: “It's not 100% true but it's not 100% wrong. Of course, we want a new start. When you come back from the World Cup break you want to go for it definitely, so far it didn't happen properly, that's true.
“That still means we have to keep working.
"There's nothing else to do. There were some very good performances in the game which you have to build on, and that's what we will do."
