Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp rates Alberto Moreno ahead of FC Koln's Germany fullback Jonas Hector.
The Telegraph says Klopp will stick with Moreno and not go into the transfer market for a new left-back.
The Reds manager leapt to the defence of the 24-year-old after he conceded a penalty and was at fault for Theo Walcott's goal against Arsenal last Sunday.
Klopp is prepared to stick with Moreno though as he is hesitant to pay £20m for Hector, who has since signed a new contract with Cologne.
Next up for Liverpool is an away trip to Burnley on Saturday in the Premier League.
