Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says their domination of Porto isn't a reflection on Portuguese football.

Liverpool host Porto for the second-leg of their Champions League tie on Tuesday with a 5-0 aggregate lead.

Klopp said: "We were very effective and surprisingly strong that night.

"Porto is a fantastic football team and very strong.

"5-0 is what it is. We scored from every chance, Porto didn't.

"It doesn't say anything about the levels of the different league.

"I am not an expert in Portuguese football but our game was not a sign."
