Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has paid tribute to Adam Lallana ahead of their clash with Brighton on Saturday.
Lallana left Liverpool for Brighton last season.
Klopp says his former midfielder is "one of the best" players he has worked with.
"He set the standards for the press from start to end [of his time]. Adam set the standard from the first day to the last day and it was impressive," said Klopp.
"It was what I loved about him, a player with technical skills and that working mentality that is really rare. If he was injured less he'd have been on another level. One of the best I've worked with.
"I am really looking forward to seeing him again."
