Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has hit out at Didi Hamann after the former Reds midfielder questioned his future.
Klopp, preparing for Wednesday night's second part of the Battle of Britain against Rangers, reacted with anger following the criticism from Hamman.
Klopp, asked what he thought about his team lacking a spark, said: “Who said that? Oh great, he (Hamann) is a fantastic source. Well respected everywhere. . ."
Reminded that Hamann is a former Liverpool midfielder, Klopp added: “That does not give you the right to say what you want, especially when you have no idea.
“I actually think Didi Hamann does not deserve the fact that you use his phrase to ask me a question.
"Do me a favour and ask your own question. That is good. Try to ask a question without using the word spark."
