Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits it was a difficult day for the club after victory over Nottingham Forest.
The Reds won 3-0 with Luis Diaz not featuring with his father missing after being kidnapped in Colombia. Diaz's mother was released earlier in the day.
Klopp said: "We played the game in the most difficult circumstances I've ever had. A really difficult day so far.
"The best thing we could do for our brother is win the game. After more than 1,000 games [as a manager] you would think you've experienced everything. But it's not about us, it's about Lucho and his family.
"We all pray that everything will be fine. The only thing we could do is fight for their brother and that's what they did. The day started in the worst possible way. The boys fought for their brother."
