Liverpool boss Klopp admits Jota, Keita wait will continue

Liverpool striker Diogo Jota won't be seen until March, it has been revealed.

Jota has been absent since injuring his knee towards the end of the Champions League dead rubber at FC Midtjylland on December 9.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp said: "Diogo is close, but not as close as Naby, for example.

"But he is on the pitch as well. Individual sessions, but not the same intensity. You can imagine after a longer time in rehab you have to train really intense before you can go back to team training.

"Diogo, two to three weeks maybe... probably the medical department hits me now!

"But I think that's kind of possible. Back in full training maybe and then we will see how long it takes."

Klopp also admits the wait continues for Naby Keita's return.

"It was a hamstring, slightly bigger one," said the Reds boss.

"He is back on the pitch but not with the team yet.

"He is individual training sessions, hard training sessions now, so it's the final stages of his rehab. But still not there."
