Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson expects more signings to arrive after Joe Cole and Milan Jovanovic.
Both players are now in camp with Liverpool in Switzerland.
Hodgson told liverpoolfc.tv: "We hope so, yes. We're working very hard on a lot of targets because, as I said to you at the start, we'd like to improve our squad, make it stronger and more competitive, and make certain we have the players we're going to need for what could turn out to be a long season if we continue in the Europa League.
"We're working on it, but I don't have anything to report."
