Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish says there will be changes to the squad this summer.
The Reds need nine points to avoid their worst Premier League haul, starting at Norwich today.
He said: "We're not happy with the number of points we have but the performances have been really pleasing.
"There won't be a radical overhaul but, like every other club, there's going to be transfer activity in the summer because that's what players expect.
"They look at the club and say 'Who are they going to bring in this summer?' They want to be excited as much as the supporters want to be excited.
"As I've said before, it's a work in progress - we've only been at it since August.
"Nobody is happy with the results we have had at home but it's not been a bad turnaround."
