Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez believes they've unearthed a gem in David Ngog after the ex-PSG striker struck his first goal for the club in yesterday's 4-0 friendly victory over Rangers.

"Ngog showed his quality and I always say the same: our scout department is working really hard to find young players at a good price. Hopefully it will be the first of many goals," Benitez told liverpoolfc.tv.
