Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez was delighted with the performance of Spanish teen Dani Pacheco in yesterday's 1-0 friendly victory over Tranmere Rovers.

"Today I think Pacheco was really good and he had two or three chances and was a threat in attack," Benitez said of the former Barcelona trainee.

"We saw how good he was for the reserves last season and today everyone could see he has the talent and the quality."
