Liverpool are ready to make a major offer for AS Roma striker Fabio Borini.
Sportitalia says new Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is willing to pay £12 million for Borini, who he worked with at Chelsea.
PSG and Hamburg are also interested, though Liverpool are so far showing the strongest interest.
Roma are in talks with Parma about taking full ownership for Borini, but with the deadline falling on Friday the centre-forward is set to go to blind auction. Should Parma sign him, he is likely to be sold to the Reds.
