Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd keen to lure Cavani away from PSG

The Premier League is looming as the next destination for PSG striker Edinson Cavani. The Daily Express says Cavani is being tracked by Premier League trio Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.

The powerful forward is unsettled in the French capital as he plays second-fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and is on the look-out for a move in the upcoming January transfer window.

Louis Van Gaal is interested in taking the Uruguay international to Old Trafford, with the plan being to play him alongside Radamel Falcao in attack.

Question marks have been raised over Robin Van Persie's long-term fitness, and Cavani could eventually replace the Dutchman at Old Trafford in the near future.

However, the Red Devils face tough competition from Arsenal and Liverpool, who are also keen to secure the 27-year-old's signature.

Arsene Wenger is searching for a new hitman to give his front-line an extra edge, whilst Brendan Rodgers is yet to replace Luis Suarez after seeing Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert fail to impress at Anfield.
