Jonjo Shelvey is on the verge of departing Liverpool after the club reportedly agreed a fee with Swansea City.
The 21-year old midfielder is set to join the Swans for £6million with a deal expected to be completed by the weekend.
Michael Laudrup has already signed Spanish trio Jordi Amat, Jose Canas and Alejandro Pozuelo this summer and is about to make his fourth senior signing by bringing in once-capped England international Shelvey.
Swans chairman Huw Jenkins said: "There is an interest there and we are talking to Liverpool."
