Liverpool hope to do business for around £9.5 million for AS Roma striker Fabio Borini.

Gazetta Dello Sport says new manager Brendan Rodgers is ready to make Borini his first signing at Liverpool.

Currently on international duty with Italy at Euro 2012, Borini spent last year on loan at Roma where he scored nine goals in 24 Serie A appearance.
