Injured Liverpool ace Xherdan Shaqiri says there's plenty he can learn from tennis icon Roger Federer.

The Switzerland international, who is currently rehabbing an injury, watched Federer the Swiss Indoors in Basel.

When asked what he can learn from Federer, Shaqiri told Blick: "So much!

"You have seen, he is in a good mood. He's here at home in Basel, then he's running well and he's winning.

"It went very fast and I'm happy for him.

"He is no longer the youngest and still plays at a top level, because you can look a lot off."
