Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho is flattered to be likened to his boyhood hero Ronaldinho. Tottenham midfielder Sandro made the comparison ahead of today's big game.
Coutinho told the Daily Star Sunday: "I would like to thank Sandro for his comments but I think I am far away from the way Ronaldinho plays.
"But he is my idol. Ronaldinho is a player I have watched the most and tried to copy the most.
"I really like Ronaldinho. I think it's very important to smile when you play. Ronaldinho has indirectly helped me with this attitude in football. I want to show people I'm enjoying myself.
"Ronaldinho did the same. And I want to show that I have the same kind of attitude and personality.
"I met Ronaldinho once in Rio at an event for his charity.
"Once a year he invites people to play football to raise money. I was invited and was really nervous.
"I wasn't thinking straight in front of my idol.
"I was also called to play for Brazil and Ronaldinho was there as well, watching closely how I played my football."
