Italy coach Marcello Lippi has major concerns over Juventus' defence. La Stampa says the poor form of the likes of Giorgio Chiellini and Fabio Cannavaro has set alarm bells ringing for Lippi ahead of this year's World Cup.

So much so, that he has made a new approach to AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta to end his international retirement.

Lippi is desperate to add Nesta to his defence, particularly after his form this season.
