Italy coach Marcello Lippi has left the door open to Juventus striker Amauri making his World Cup squad.
The Brazilian-born forward is still waiting for his Italian citizenship to be rubberstamped.
Lippi said: "I will consider Amauri only when he will become fully an Italian citizen. He will then be monitored by my staff like all the others - Giuseppe Rossi, Luca Toni and Alberto Gilardino.
"By June I am hoping to recover seven or eight players who are currently out injured. On 11 May I have to submit an initial list of 30 players and this friendly will be useful to judge several players who could be included in it."
