Jesse Lingard must wait for his debut should he sign for Al-Ettifaq.

The former Manchester United midfielder is training with the SPL club - and has impressed.

Sky Sports says Lingard is expected to sign with the Middle East outfit.

But the Saudi foreign players' rule will mean he cannot play for the club until January.

Lingard has been a free agent since coming off contract at Nottingham Forest over the summer.
