Lille goalkeeper Mickael Landreau has welcomed the arrival of Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole on-loan.
Landreau is excited at seeing Cole in action and believes the 29-year-old Londoner's personal ambitions coincide perfectly with those of Lille.
He told RMC: "It is a positive move, we needed reinforcements.
"From the first training session he has shown great technical quality and looks very comfortable in front of goal.
"He has a profile which matches ours in that he wants to achieve something.
"We feel that he has ambition and he can also give us the benefit of his experience."
