Liverpool assistant coach Pep Lijnders says the kids will face Derby County.

The Reds host Derby in the Carabao Cup tomorrow night.

Lijnders said, "As we proved last year, this competition gives moments for talents and our scouting department.

"One thing proven last year, we will need the whole squad to compete if you want to go for the cups.

"Derby have not been in an easy period, but the players run through brick walls for the manager.

"He has a few injuries in the back line but we can expect a mixture of talent and we need to be ready."
