Stephan Lichtsteiner has credited Juventus teammate Andrea Pirlo for his famous goal in victory over Parma.

The Swiss international became the first player to score a competitive goal at the club's new stadium in the 4-1 win over Parma on Sunday.

"I need to thank Andrea who played me in with a great pass and from that it was relatively easy to score," said the right-back.

"If I'd had a bet on me being the first scorer, I would have won a lot of money…"
