Real Madrid remain confident completing the signing of Tottenham star Gareth Bale.
The Daily Mail says Bale will complete his world-record £86million move to Real Madrid as soon as Tottenham have signed his replacement.
Chairman Daniel Levy has agreed the deal to sell his PFA Player of the Year to Real, despite denials from Spurs.
Levy was in the Spurs boardroom on Sunday for the win over Swansea after hours of talks with Real over Bale's transfer. He is furious that Real have prepared a stage inside the Bernabeu for Bale's presentation. Levy believes it to be a cynical attempt to speed up the deal and put pressure on Spurs to sell this week.
Instead, Levy will let Bale leave Spurs only when they have landed his replacement, Erik Lamela, who was left on the Roma bench for their win over Livorno in Italy on Sunday night.
