Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy insists the club retains hefty ambitions.
He says reaching the Champions League and competing regularly at a higher level remains the club's ambition.
Levy said in a Facebook Q&A: "We want be one of the most successful clubs in Europe.
"The new stadium will be a game changer for us. It will create revenues that we can invest in the first team and deliver success on the pitch - so that is a priority for us."
