Levante remain in the hunt for Leicester City midfielder Vicente Iborra.

Super Deporte says Levante will speak to City again to see if they can do a deal to re-sign their former midfielder having failed with an approach during the summer.

But Levante will hold off with their enquiry while City continue to cope with the aftermath of the helicopter crash that claimed the lives of five people, including chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

Iborra came through the academy at his hometown club Levante and played 188 senior games for the club until his 2013 move to Sevilla.

He joined City in 2017 for a reported £15million fee, but he has publicly stated in the past his desire to return to Levante before the end of his career.
