Levante president Catalan confirms they'll complain against Barcelona selection

Levante president Quico Catalan says they'll lodge a complaint with the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) over Barcelona's team selection.

In the first-leg at Estadi Ciutat de Valencia, Barcelona played with a starting line-up that featured Chumi, who was ineligible for the game due to a suspension with the B team.

Although the deadline for such a complaint has passed, Las Granotas' legal department has carefully studied the case and are eager to defend their position.

"It's not an easy situation, as sports people like us, we prefer to win situations like this on the pitch," Catalan said before the return leg on Thursday night.

"Whatever happens on the pitch, Levante are going to pass the situation on to the Federation tomorrow."
