Celtic manager Neil Lennon is positive that the club and goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska can come to an agreement regarding a contract extension.
The 29-year old Pole, who plays back-up to Fraser Forster, is coming out of contract and Lennon is hoping t keep him on the books at Parkhead despite his desire to play regular first team football.
"I don't think we're far away now. I hope he will sign. We would like to keep him.
"He is very good back-up and a great professional as well. Whenever he comes in he does a good job for me.""I have had a chat with Lukasz this week and I'll speak to him again early in the week and hopefully we can get it resolved," Lennon said.
