Lennon happy Hodgson watching Celtic pair Hooper, Forster

Celtic boss Neil Lennon is happy England coach Roy Hodgson is set to check on his players next week.

The Three Lions boss will be at Parkhead for Tuesday's Champions League clash to monitor Gary Hooper and fit-again goalkeeper Fraser Forster, who will start for the first time since January 2 in Saturday's SPL trip to Inverness.

"It's good of Roy to come to watch Gary and Fraser, and I hope they play to the levels they are capable of," said Lennon. "I thought he may have thrown in Gary against Brazil but he told me he wasn't going to involve him or Fraser, although Fraser's injury would have hampered him anyway.

"But the pressure won't affect Gary. He has had people watching him all season. Maybe it did affect him in the past but he is past that stage. Right now, his whole focus is on beating Juventus - and if he gets an England call-up on the back of that, then brilliant.."
