Gary Hooper has performed brilliantly since arriving at Celtic and manager Neil Lennon is delighted at the fact he wants to extend his current contract.
The 23-year old striker scored his 11th Scottish Premier League goal of the season (15 in all competitions) as the Hoops defeated St Johnstone 2-0 at McDiarmid Park after previously indicating he would be happy to remain at Parkhead amidst interest from clubs in England.
"There are a lot of players playing at the top of their game and he's one of them. He's got 15 goals, which is great.
"I think the world of him as a player and I'm happy he's settled here.""It's really encouraging to hear Gary talking like that," he said.
