Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes says his lower league loans helped his development.
Barnes as a youngster had loan spells at MK Dons, Barnsley and West Brom.
"Learning a few different things and habits helped me in the way I play now," Barnes told the Daily Mail.
"There are different sorts of wingers. There are tricky ones, wingers who love loads of skill and it's not that I can't do that but I think I am more of an old fashioned winger, very direct.
"I don't know if that's come from my upbringing in the lower leagues but I think it helped."
