Leicester to wait regarding permanent deal for Stoke defender Huth

Nigel Pearson says Leicester City will not know any more about a deal for Robert Huth until the end of the season.

The German centre-back joined the Foxes on a short-term loan from Stoke City in early February and has been an integral part of the side that has warded off relegation with a run of six wins in eight matches.

Pearson has previously said he would like to bring in Huth on a less temporary basis but insists that there has yet been no dialogue with the Potters so the potential transfer will have to wait.

"There's always considerations to be made and with regard to Robert Huth, as I've already pointed out in previous press conferences, until the clubs have had dialogue I don't think it's right for me to be talking too much about that but clearly he has had a very positive effect on our season," he told Sky Sports News HQ.
