New Leicester boss Martin Allen has made his first major move in the transfer market by signing Bruno N'Gotty from Birmingham.
The former France defender, 35, was out of contract at St Andrews, although he had the option of extending his deal by 12 months after helping Blues to promotion from the Championship this season.
But the offer of a two-year contract at the Walkers Stadium proved too much to resist for the veteran, who will be joined at City by goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen.
The stopper, 29, has signed from Danish club Aab Aalborg, in another 24-month deal.
Allen told the club's official website: "Both (players) have a wealth of experience and I believe they will be major assets for the season ahead."
