Leicester City have reached terms with Rennes over the sale of Islam Slimani.

Foot Mercato says Leicester and Rennes have a 'verbal agreement' over an €8m fee, but there are still details to thrash out.

Slimani joined the Foxes in 2018, but he has completed three loan spells since, with Newcastle United, Fenerbahce and Monaco respectively.

He netted eight goals in 35 league appearances before slipping out of contention at the King Power Stadium.
