Leicester City are hopeful a quickfire deal £40m offer will tie up a deal for Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans.
Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers has told the board he wants Tielemans to remain at the club permanently after his impressive loan stint during the second half of the season at the King Power.
Rodgers wants a deal completed as soon as possible with the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United also interested in the 22-year-old.
Leicester have initiated talks with Monaco, who have yet to determine their asking price.
