Leicester City's latest signing Yohan Benalouane is targeting a great season with the Foxes as the Premier League season kicks off this weekend.
The 28-year-old Tunisian, who plays in the centre of defence, signed a four-year contract with the club for an undisclosed fee from Serie A side Atalanta on Monday and is hoping for a 'great' debut season in England.
Benalouane told Foxes Player HD: "My favourite position is central defender. I like to play with the ball and control my defence. For me, it's my preferred position. I'm a player with power and I have technical quality. I hope to use this at Leicester.
"I'll do my best this week in training. In Italy the season starts later. I worked hard while I was on holiday and also in training, so I hope I come to the first match as a possibility.
"I spoke with Claudio Ranieri. I'm very happy to work with him. For me and for everyone, he is a very big manager. He told me it's different to Italy because it's very high-impact. Now, I hope that I can have a great season."
Leicester City will play Sunderland this Saturday in their opening Premier League fixture.
