Leicester City are showing interest in Portuguese striker Hugo Almeida.
The 30-year old forward is a free agent after leaving Turkish club Besiktas earlier this summer and has now emerged on the transfer radar of the Foxes according to reports.
Leicester boss Nigel Pearson is keen to bring in the former Werder Bremen star to add depth to his squad after landing Leonardo Ulloa from Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer.
Almeida spent three-and-a-half-years with Besiktas and scored 47 goals in 110 appearances for the Istanbul outfit.
