Leicester City are in advanced talks with Adrien Silva to terminate his contract.

Foot Mercato says Leicester have agreed to release Silva from the last year of his contract.

Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers is not counting on him for next season and is happy for the Portugal international to move on.

Silva spent last season on-loan with AS Monaco, though a return is unlikely.

Instead, former club Sporting CP are eager to bring the midfielder back to Portugal for the new season.
