Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has reacted to the shock departure of Denmark coach Age Hareide.
Hareide will allow his contract with the DBU to expire this summer, meaning he won't be in charge for the rescheduled Euros in 2021.
"You don't usually use the term sin in football, but this is so bad. DBU has made the decision that they have made, and of course they have not been able to predict what has happened to this pandemic," said Schmeichel.
"Actually, I'm just incredibly grateful to have had such a good coach as Åge Hareide. I think Denmark owes him a huge thank you for what he has done for Danish football.
"And how he has lifted us up. It's an incredible job he's done."
