Leicester City fullback Timothy Castagne admits he had offers to remain in Italy this season.
Castagne signed for the Foxes last month from Atalanta and struck in a winning debut on Sunday.
"There were offers from Serie A, but I could not play for other Italian clubs after Atalanta. It was a wonderful experience and I was nobody when I arrived. All battles are a war in Italy and I have improved so much in my time there," said the Belgian.
"I believe that only Ajax is a better club than Atalanta for a young player.
"Juventus and Inter are a little ahead of them in the title race, but La Dea has everything it takes to fight in Serie A and in the Champions League."
