Leicester City fullback Ricardo Pereira insists the players expected to achieve their success this season.
The Foxes are on the brink of Champions League qualification this season.
Pereira told Marca: "No, I don't think it's amazing. It may be for people who do not watch games, but it is not for us. We have a good team, with quality players in all positions, driven by (Brendan) Rodgers, with whom we have been leveling up since he arrived.
"It is not an accident.
"Going from the Portuguese championship to the Premier League has been good for me. The players you play against every weekend are stronger and the teams are better. I've had to raise my level to adapt and I'm glad I came."
