Leicester City defender Jonny Evans admits James Justin was left upset by his injury setback this week.

The full-back was stretchered off after an innocuous incident on the hour of the 3-0 win over Newport, in which he scored a stunning first-half strike. That set City on their way to a victory that puts them in the hat for the Carabao Cup last 16.

“I spoke to him," Evans told Sky Sports. “I think everyone's been to see him. He's a wee bit upset. He's obviously had his knee injury before. Everyone is gutted for him. Hopefully it's not too bad.

"Obviously all the lads will support him, all his family. He'll come back again."
