Leicester City are close to completing the permanent signing of Robert Huth for a fee of around £3million.
Huth joined Leicester from Stoke City on a loan deal till the end of the season during the January transfer window and managed to play a key role in the Foxes astonishing survival.
The German defender's performances made him a popular figure among the Foxes supporters and manager Nigel Pearson has made no secret of his desire to sign him on a permanent deal this summer.
Huth is clearly surplus to requirements at Stoke following the permanent signing of Philipp Wollscheid and it is now being reported by the Leicester Mercury that the Foxes are close to completing a £3million move for the 30-year old.
