Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers admits he needs to assess the players he has out on-loan.

City have several senior players out on loan, including Islam Slimani, Adrien Silva, Filip Benkovic and Fousseni Diabate, as well as youngsters like Darnell Johnson, Josh Knight and George Thomas.

"I just came in to initially work with the players that are here," Rodgers said before defeat to Newcastle last night.

“There are a number of players out on loan and it's something we will discuss between now and the end of the season.

"(Slimani) is obviously a player who wants to play and the loan hasn't quite worked out how he would want, but these are all decisions that will be made at the end of the season.

"Nothing has been decided yet."
