Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson WAS told he was sacked on Sunday - only to be reinstated, it is claimed.
The Mirror reports chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha had informed Pearson to clear his desk after defeat to Crystal Palace.
But he was later persuaded by his son Aiyawatt, also known as 'Top', to reinstate the 51-year-old.
Aiyawatt was in Bangkok, Thailand, with Leicester's chief executive Susan Whelan on club business.
Aiyawatt made the decision after realising they had no outstanding candidate lined up to replace Pearson.
