Leeds United midfielder Michael Brown is a big fan of Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas.
Brown believes Villas-Boas was harshly treated at Chelsea and reckons the former Porto coach is going to be fantastic now he has made the short trek across London.
Hartlepool-born Brown, 36, enthused: "There are a few fine young managers operating in the Premier League - people like Roberto Martinez, Michael Laudrup and Brendan Rodgers - and Villas-Boas is right up there with them.
"I think Spurs fans should be really happy because I can see him taking them into an exciting new era.
"I don't know what went wrong at Chelsea, but - for whatever reason - it just didn't work out. But I can see him repeating at Tottenham the success he had at Porto, no question.
"And, in Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon, they have two of the most exciting wide players in the game. Those guys can do so much damage with their flair and pace.
"But it is not just a brand of entertaining football that Tottenham serve up.
"He also has them well organised. They are doing the right things all through the team and that is why I can see them getting among the trophies sooner rather than later.
"They have a talented squad, great strength in depth and I believe they are good enough to finish in the Champions League places this year."
